COURSES FOR ADULTS IN WHITLEY BAY
COLOUR AND COMPOSITION IN oIL PAINT WITH LEWIS DIMMICK
Thursdays 5:00-7:00pm, 6 weeks

This course will introduce techniques for creating dynamic and colourful composition in oil paint through a variety of projects and practical exercises as well as creative exploration.
This 6 week course is suitable for beginners, improvers and experienced artists alike and will be led by Guest Instructor and Northeast Artist Lewis Dimmick
In all courses, participants will gain essential drawing and painting techniques and skills using a range of materials, provided at Turpentyne.
Turpentyne Creative:
The Art of Line and Wash - Watercolour for Everyone
Tuesdays 12:30-2:30pm, 6 weeks
3rd June - 8th July
This course will introduce techniques for drawing and painting in watercolour with illustrative line through a variety of projects and practical exercises as well as creative exploration.
This 6 week course is suitable for beginners, improvers and experienced artists alike and will be led by Turpentyne Instructor, Artist Hayley Anderson (aka. Bopa)
Participants will gain essential drawing and painting techniques and skills using a range of materials, provided by Turpentyne.
Turpentyne Classic
Thursdays 12:30-2:30 pm, term-time -OR- Fridays 6:00-8:00 pm, term-time
Ongoing. This course is booked by the half-term. Enrol at any time.
Much like our comprehensive courses for young people, this course will teach a wide variety of fine art drawing and painting skills for adults. Students will learn the principles of visual measurement, colour theory, and composition, as well as how to use a wide variety of materials to render a wide variety of subject matter.
From illustration to portraiture, to master studies and more… We will leave no artistic stone unturned!
